The careless student, from Nanjing's Pukou District, accidentally dropped his college entrance examination card into a nearby river on the first day of the gaokao on June 7.

A police officer, keeping the order at the scene, witnessed the incident and jumped into the water without hesitation to help salvage the card. He even dived under the water to search for the card. Unfortunately, the policeman failed to find it because the water was too dirty and muddy.
