Two women were forced to use a ladder to get out after they were locked inside the glass door of an ATM in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, southwest Hubei Province, on June 6.
The two were trapped inside the ATM cabin of China Construction Bank on Gongyuan Road around 6pm after the safety door had broken down. They then called the police.
Local firemen rushed to the site and rescued them from the top of the cabin. They had been trapped inside for more than an hour before help arrived.
