Passersby lift car to save trapped woman

A crowd of unlikely heroes in Zhengzhou, Henan Province successfully lifted a car to save a woman who was trapped underneath.

The incident happened around 2pm on September 10 at the crossroads of Weilai and Shihua Roads when a black car knocked down a woman who was riding on her electric scooter, trapping her under the car.

The people in the car immediately got out to check on her condition while more and more passersby came to her aid, attempting to lift the car. After just over 10 minutes, the woman was finally freed.

Luckily, she only suffered from skin trauma which was not life-threatening.
