Girl, 14, attacks father on street, all over a mobile phone

A 14-year-old girl in Zigong, Sichuan Province attacked her father in front of a crowd of people on the street after he confiscated her mobile phone.

During an epic battle which lasted about half an hour, the girl kicked at her father five times, although her attacks were often thwarted when he grabbed her leg, causing her to fall to the ground.

The teenager refused to go home and continued demanding her phone back until police arrived on the scene.

But the situation didn't calm down much when the family finally got out of the spotlight — her father said the girl began a "cold war" with her parents when they returned home. 

Netizens were quick to comment, as always, with one suggesting the girl might need a bit more in the punishment department.
