A woman in Wenzhou, Zhejiang Province, got her head stuck in a safety railing she tried to climb over while crossing the road illegally yesterday.

She unexpectedly lost balance as she flipped over the fence, resulting in her head being wedged between two of the rails.

Though she tried several times, the woman failed to pull herself free, having to wait for help to arrive after passersby called emergency services.

Firefighters soon arrived and were able to free the woman — who looked to be in her teens — by cutting one of the rails, taking about five minutes.

As soon as she was freed the woman fled the scene without telling anyone why she was in such a hurry.
