An elderly man was bit by a circus tiger when he stretched his hand into the cage to feed it.

An old man was bitten by a tiger on the back of a circus truck that he tried to feed in Henan Province on Wednesday.
The visiting circus truck, which was also carrying a lion, attracted a crowd of onlookers in Xichuan, with one person learning the hard way not to get too close.
An elderly man put his hands into the cages to feed the animals before being suddenly bitten by the tiger, which refused to release the man until it was hit with a long stick several times.
The man fainted after he was freed and was soon rushed to hospital.
