Father fined for letting kids lean out car sunroof

A father from Shenzhen in south China’s Guangdong Province drove his car for 1.5 kilometers with his son and daughter leaning out of the open sunroof on December 2.

The man was fined 100 yuan (US$15) and had two points deducted from his license two days later after his illegal behavior was reported to the traffic police by a driver following him on Meihua Road.

The man, surnamed Zhang, said he opened the sunroof, letting his son and daughter stick their upper bodies out on their way to visit someone.

He closed the sunroof and made his two kids come back in the car after someone alerted him about the danger and warned him it was illegal.
