Passersby lift car to save trapped boy

A group of people in Jinan, Shandong Province rushed to save the life of a boy who was trapped under a car recently.

The 10-year-old boy got out of his car while it was stopped at an intersection and ran towards the zebra crossing to cross the road.

However, as video footage shows, a car waiting at the intersection suddenly started moving when the traffic light changed, running the boy over and trapping him underneath.

Passersby who witnessed the accident soon ran to lift the car and save the boy, who was freed and sent to hospital where a doctor discovered he received a mild arm fracture in the incident.

After an investigation, police said the driver of the yellow car, who failed to see the pedestrian, should bear primary responsibility for the accident while the boy, who illegally got out of a car while in the vehicle lane, should bear secondary responsibility.
