How did this terrible drawing help find a missing dog?

A lost dog notice went viral on social media for the psychedelic hand-drawn image it featured, sparking the creation of a hilarious video.

A dog owner in Jiangbei, Chongqing failed to find her pet last Friday so she printed a notice and drew a picture of her black teddy dog on it, CQTITLE.COM, a local news portal reported. 

The picture showed what the dog wore when it went missing.

The notice soon caught the attention of Chinese netizens who were shocked at the poor rendering and joked that it might be hard to find the dog based on the poster's depiction.

However, the missing dog was finally returned to its owner after a kind man contacted her and said her dog mistakenly went to his home.

The dog owner explained she took her pet out that day but it followed a stranger and escaped by entering an elevator.
