Passers-by in Bozhou, Anhui Province worked together to lift a van and rescue a young student who had been knocked down by the vehicle and was stuck under the wheels, according to The Paper.
The boy, surnamed Cheng, is currently being treated at hospital but suffered no life threatening injuries in the incident.
As security video showed, the boy was hit by a van from behind as he walked in the middle of a road against traffic rules. Several passers-by, including other drivers, stopped to help lift the van and help the boy out.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
