Missing boy discovered walking barefoot, returned to parents

A missing boy in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province, was reunited with his parents with the help of a passerby and police on March 14, Knews reported.

The 4-year-old boy was discovered walking alone on a street at night with bare feet while crying.

A passerby soon held the boy in his arms to keep him warm amid the cold weather and called police.

After police arrived on the scene they took the boy to look for his parents, a young couple who police soon discovered looking for their son. They were confirmed to be the boy's parents.

The couple decided to go out while the boy was sleeping alone at home. The boy then woke up and left home to look for his parents while wearing only a pair of pyjamas.
