Teacher holds umbrella during leaky lesson

A university teacher in Henan Province was filmed holding an umbrella while giving a lesson in a leaky classroom on April 12, Knews reported.

Heavy rain leaked through the ceiling of the classroom at Shangqiu Normal University, forcing the teacher to hold an umbrella in order to keep the lesson going.

A student said their classroom was on the sixth floor and that the school building was in the middle of maintenance. A sudden downpour led to the classroom springing a leak.

Chinese netizens applauded the teacher for his dedication, with one commenting, "Thumbs up for such a good teacher!"

The school has arranged for the leak to be repaired.
