Man rushes to save boy after falling into West Lake
A man in east China rushed to save a boy who accidentally fell into the famous West Lake on May 26, Zhejiang’s zjol.com reported.
The incident happened at the lake's Musical Fountain in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, at around noon.
The 10-year-old boy, who was initially playing beside the lake, sank below the surface after falling into the water.
A tourist surnamed Zhang, who happens to be a rescue worker and was visiting the area from Taizhou, Zhejiang Province, rushed to save the boy as soon as he noticed the situation, jumping into the lake without any hesitation.
Other tourists also joined in the rescue effort, eventually pulling him out of the water.
The boy was uninjured in the incident, and his parents expressed their gratitude to Zhang and the other rescuers.
