Four metro interns in Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province, dressed up as popular cartoon figure Peppa Pig to dissuade passengers from "indecent behavior" inside subway carriages, thepaper.cn reported.

The four college students, currently interning on Metro Line 3, came up with the idea in an effort to set an example for the city’s primary and middle school students who will use the Metro more than usual as the summer holidays approach.

"Indecent behaviors" targeted by Peppa Pig include eating or drinking on board, or lying down across Metro seats.
