A gas tank in the kitchen of a ninth floor apartment in Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province suddenly caught fire, forcing firefighters to come to the rescue.

A fireman wet his gloves, picked up the burning tank and rushed downstairs to remove it.

The whole process took nine minutes, and at any moment the tank may have exploded.

Chinese netizens highly praised the fireman for his bravery, calling him a "real hero."
