Heavy rains often bring troubles, but they are sometimes also followed by heart-warming stories.

A disabled old man in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province fell down when he was riding a bike on a flooded road on June 26, Knews reported.

He couldn't stand up again on his own, mostly due to the water and slippery mud.

Traffic police who were on duty nearby rushed to help after realizing what had happened.

They picked up the man and carried him cross the flooded road.

The thoughtful police also picked up the man's bike from the muddy ditch and helped move it to the roadside.
