A boy in north China was captured "directing traffic" on a flooded road, melting the hearts of Chinese netizens.

A heavy downpour hit Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, recently, causing flooding in some areas, Knews reported.

To prevent passers-by or drivers becoming trapped in deep water, a thoughtful boy stood in the center of a flooded road, loudly reminding people to make a detour.

When some appeared to be about to proceed anyway, the boy walked into the deep area to prove that the road was impassable.
