A 40-year-old paralyzed woman from Taiyuan, capital of Shanxi Province, is in love with painting and has sold more than 70 of her works online, China News Service reported.

Zhang Junli was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis when she was only 6 years old. She became totally paralyzed at 8 and has been completely bedridden since then. Zhang was forced to begin planning for her future at 10.

Zhang paints by moving her hands through shoulder movements as her wrists are paralyzed. At first, she thought what she painted was far from good enough.

She started learning oil painting with the instruction of a professional teacher back in 2015. She has since made more than 300 oil paintings and owns an online shop on WeChat where her paintings are available for purchase.

Zhang Junli is taken care of by her mother at home in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province.

Netizens appreciated Zhang and quite a few have so far bought her work.

Zhang also writes online fiction on her WeChat official account and learns English every day with her friends. 

She ultimately hopes to paint a classic work worth passing down in her lifetime.
