A woman in Huainan of Anhui Province voluntarily brought a bowl of beef soup, a typical local breakfast, to a policewoman who started work early on August 13 because of a storm, thepaper.cn reported.
The policewoman was concerned about possible traffic jams after a big rainstorm and arrived earlier than usual in order to clear any issues, the report said.
As CCTV footage showed, a warm-hearted resident brought beef soup for her around 8:50am after learning she missed breakfast — she left without giving her name.
Netizens moved by the friendly sentiment said it must have been "the warmest beef soup eaten that day."
