Granny assists foreigner stumped by QR code

An older Chinese woman with a great command of English shocked a foreigner in China's Zhejiang Province recently who was having trouble buying a theater ticket.

As thepaper.cn reported, the woman noticed that the man needed help and exclaimed: "I'll show you, so easy!" 

The woman then helped the foreigner buy his ticket with one scan of a QR code, which left him amazed at how easy the process was.

"That's amazing!" he exclaimed. "In my country, if we want to buy tickets we need to go to the entrance and buy it by ourselves the day before." 

The woman, surnamed Sun, then explained to the crowd of people who had gathered around what the man had just said, to their obvious gasps.

The expat went to attend a show at the Wuzhen Theater Festival, which was held from October 18 to 28. 

"China is so convenient," the man told the woman. "I love China!"
