Fire truck given ticket for overloading
A fire truck was given a traffic ticket for overloading after passing through a highway toll station in southwest China’s Chongqing on January 11.
The truck was given the notification after the fire brigade put out a fire and was on the way back to the station about 3:12pm.
Fire trucks are non-operational special vehicles and should not be treated as ordinary trucks, the Fire and Rescue Department of the Ministry of Emergency Management responded on its official Weibo account.
According to the investigation carried out by Chongqing traffic authorities, the toll operator issued the ticket due to carelessness and no further fines have been charged.
