McDonald's apologizes for a mouthful of feathers
McDonald's apologized on Weibo on Wednesday and promised further investigation after a woman in Beijing found feathers in a delivery on April 21, The Beijing News reported.
Zhou said her daughter got a mouthful of feathers after biting a chicken wing.
McDonald's offered compensation of 10 times the price of chicken wings plus 300 yuan (US$45) of cash or coupons.
Zhou refused the offer and reported the case to the local food and drug watchdog.
McDonald's China responded on Weibo that the company had investigated the case and apologized, promising improved service in the future.
