However the love story between him and his wife is even more touching.
They met on WeChat and his wife was touched by his cheerful personality immediately.
The man Wang Gang asked his wife He Xiaoman if she would pretend to be his girlfriend just to cheer up his dying father.
She agreed and as time passed by, she was more convinced that he was the man to rely on.
Eventually they got married for real. She said the most important thing now is they are happy together.
