Eight sanitation workers in China’s Zhejiang Province were baffled when a senior citizen came and offered them 100 yuan (US$14.06) each.
The woman refused to take the money back when the workers tried to return it and quickly left.
After talking with their company, they found her at a noodle shop she owns.
She said she really appreciates the workers’ efforts and reluctantly accepted the money back.
