A 9-year-old boy drove his mother’s car and banged into another vehicle on a street in China’s Guangdong Province.

He immediately reversed the car, sped away and went home.

His parents only found out when police contacted them. Investigation found he drove for about 5 kilometers.

After negotiation, the parents paid 3,000 yuan (US$426) in compensation to the other driver.
