City launch for one-stop metrology platform
Officials at the launch of a national intelligent connected vehicle metrology testing technology commission and a national intelligent connected vehicle industry metrology testing association.
An online platform providing one-stop metrology testing services was launched by market watchdogs in the Yangtze River Delta region in Shanghai on Wednesday to mark the World Metrology Day.
By searching for metrology technical difficulties, the platform will recommend corresponding agencies with relevant technical abilities for users, which significantly improves efficiency, the Shanghai Administration for Market Regulation said.
In the past, companies need to make calls or visits for consultation of related services, the administration said.
The platform gathers the best metrology testing centers in the region, and it will help companies break their technical bottlenecks, it said.
Meanwhile, the national intelligent connected vehicle metrology testing technology commission and the national intelligent connected vehicle industry metrology testing association were established in Shanghai on Wednesday, the administration said.
Metrology is the scientific study of measurement.
