PLA guard of honor attends Russian V-Day parade

The Guard of Honor of the Chinese People's Liberation Army participated in Russia's Victory Day parade at Moscow's Red Square on Wednesday, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Great Patriotic War.
During the parade, the PLA guard of honor escorted the Chinese national flag while marching across Red Square. It was the second time the guard had taken part in the event, after attending in 2015.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Russia postponed the annual Victory Day parade from the traditional date of May 9 for the first time since 1995, when the day was declared a national holiday.
