The Singapore Business Federation will lead over 80 Singaporean companies as the largest and most diversified delegation from the 10-member Association of South East Asian Nations at the inaugural China International Import Expo in Shanghai next month.

Almost 350 senior business representatives will showcase their products and services across various sectors, the SBF said Tuesday.

Companies under the SBF have booked the largest space in the service trade exhibition hall at the Shanghai National Exhibition and Convention Center.

Singaporean companies will also have a presence in the halls for food and agricultural products and high-technology, featuring Singaporean goods and services across the logistics and transportation, financial and banking, education, health care and food and beverage sectors.

“The China International Import Expo is China’s only and most authoritative business-to-business exhibition platform focusing on imports,” said Teo Siong Seng, chairman of the SBF.

“Singaporean enterprises hope to have a more comprehensive understanding of the potential of China’s domestic consumer market and look for more customers and business opportunities through this remarkable high-end platform,” Teo said.

Leading Singaporean exhibitors include DBS Bank, GeTs Global, Keppel, Kim Hing Co, Singapore Airlines and the National University of Singapore.
