Party Secretary Li meets IC industry entrepreneurs and experts

Shanghai Party Secretary Li Qiang met integrated circuit entrepreneurs and experts from home and abroad, who were in the city to attend the fifth Zhangjiang ICWise Semiconductor Industry Summit, on April 13.

Li spoke about the city’s IC industry and its development and listened to the guests’ suggestions and thoughts on further development, cooperation and R&D pertaining to the industry.

He revealed that the city will continue its efforts to optimize the industrial ecology, tackling bottlenecks in core technology development and strengthening comprehensive cooperation with leading global enterprises.

Li welcomed more domestic and overseas IC enterprises and products, and promised to offer a better business environment and services.

Reinhard Ploss, CEO of Infineon Technologies AG, said he was very optimistic about the vibrant Chinese market, adding that his company will increase investment in collaborative innovation and application of new products.
