No new cases of coronavirus infection were confirmed in Shanghai in the first 12 hours of Sunday, and 20 suspected cases were ruled out, the city's health commission said on Sunday afternoon.

So far, the city has reported 335 infections and ruled out 2,137 suspected cases.

Among all confirmed patients, aged between 7 months and 88 years old, 144 have traveled or lived in Hubei Province, 33 have traveled or lived in other regions, and 158 had contact history with infected persons.

A total of 111 patients are from outside the city, while 224 are local residents — those with registered residency and people staying in the city for over six months.

According to the commission, 70 patients are stable, four are in serious condition and nine are critical. A total of 249 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital.

There are three local fatalities so far.

Another 93 suspected cases are undergoing tests, the commission said.
