The winter has been somehow gloomy for Shanghai inhabitants because of the COVID-19 crisis. But fear not, spring has arrived and more people are walking outdoors and returning to work again just as the metropolis’ flowers sprout up all around the city and the willows turn green. Most of the city parks remain closed because of the epidemic, but Shanghai Daily photographers got out and about snapping the darling buds of spring.
