The Shanghai Disabled Persons' Federation released a video entitled "Barrier-Free Love" on Monday to mark May 17, a day dedicated to helping the handicapped in China.

The 30-second video will be aired in public transport, local communities, office buildings and on television in Shanghai, the federation said.

The video calls on the public to help with the integrated development, equality and barrier-free life of the disabled, promote the social integration of the handicapped and eliminate barriers to disabled people's participation in social life, the federation said.
