Three A-level attractions lose rating status

Three A-level tourist attractions in Shanghai have had their rating status revoked, local cultural and tourism authorities said on Friday. 

Specifically, Shanghai Xulang Lake Ecological Garden and Duoli Farm and Ecological Garden, two 3A-level tourist attractions, had their ratings revoked for failing to meet relevant standards, the Shanghai Administration of Culture and Tourism announced on its website. 

The Meilan Lake scenic area, a 4A scenic spot, has been removed from the list due to "change of function," according to the administration. 

Another 30 sites maintained their ratings after passing inspection.
