1 more coronavirus case reported in the city
One new imported novel coronavirus case was reported on Wednesday, said the Shanghai Health Commission on Thursday morning.
The new patient is a Chinese studying in the US who arrived at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport on May 4.
The patient has been transferred to the designated hospital for treatment and all the 69 close contacts on the same plane have been tracked down for quarantine and observation.
So far, of all the 318 imported cases, 288 have been discharged upon recovery and 30 are still hospitalized, including two in critical condition.
Another three imported suspected cases are undergoing test.
No new locally transmitted cases or suspected cases were reported on Wednesday.
Of all the 339 local cases, 332 have been discharged upon recovery. There have been so far seven local fatalities.
No asymptomatic infection cases are undergoing medical observation now, the health commission said.
