A book with 140 examples of health projects aimed at raising local residents’ awareness of health care and improving the city’s health capabilities was released on Thursday during the ongoing Shanghai Book Fair.

Wang Tong, one of the book’s editors and vice director of the office of Shanghai Health Enhancement Commission, said the examples cover various aspects such as healthy lifestyles, health services, the environment and the health industry from hospitals, companies, schools, communities and residents.

“It is a guide book to help build Shanghai into a healthy city,” he said.
