Yi Huiman was appointed Party chief of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, replacing Liu Shiyu, according to a decision of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
Yi was appointed chairman of the CSRC, replacing Liu, according to a decision of the State Council.
Liu Shiyu would be offered another position, an official statement said Saturday.
