Shanghai Pudong Development Bank has appointed Zheng Yang, ex-director of Shanghai Financial Regulatory Bureau, as its new head.

Shanghai Pudong Development Bank announced on Tuesday that it had appointed Zheng Yang, ex-director of Shanghai Financial Regulatory Bureau, as its new Party secretary.
Zheng has rich experience in financial supervision and has served as deputy director of the capital account department of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange and deputy governor of the Shanghai branch of the People's Bank of China.
In 2013, Zheng became director of the Shanghai Financial Services Office. Last November, Shanghai Local Financial Supervision and Administration Bureau was set up with Zheng as director.
