City residents can enjoy a spring bus tour around town with the No. 911 double-decker bus route back in service this month.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the service had been suspended since January 28 though normal buses still operated.
The double-decker bus will now run once every 30 minutes, shuttling between Laoximen Station and Huaihai Road M. and Wukang Road Station.
Nearly 100 passengers took the bus on April 1, the first day after the hiatus.
“We are expecting a growing number of daily passengers, therefore we will adjust our operation capacity later accordingly,” said a driver surnamed Ding.
Strict management measures are implemented involving the daily disinfection of buses, and the requirement for both passengers and drivers to wear masks, he said.

Drivers on the resumed service must wear masks, with passengers also required to do so.

The buses on the resumed service will be disinfected every day.
