The female students from Chengdu University of TCM, all dressed in white gowns, wore their hair down and over their faces and turned the photographs into black-and-white to create a bloodcurdling atmosphere in the anatomical building, the grove and ruins.

One netizen said: "The girls didn't promote the vitality of 'life' but sensationalized a mood of 'death' in the photos. It was a grandstanding that totally lacked the beauty of 'angels in white'." Another added: "Such photos had no respect to your major."
