Woman avoids certain death by mere inches

A woman in Chongqing was almost run over by a truck when she crossed the road illegally on Tuesday, with shocking video shot on the scene showing just how close she came to almost certain death.

The woman began running across the road but soon realized a truck was approaching. She tried to stop but slipped, spinning around and landing with her head under the path of the truck's huge tires. 

Fortunately, the quick-minded driver stopped the vehicle just in time, stopping just inches before running over her head.

The scared woman was soon lifted up and survived the incident without a scratch.
