UFI Filters Group, a leader in filtration and thermal management, said it is actively developing and implementing filters for new-energy vehicles.

“UFI Group is ready for the explosive growth of China’s new-energy vehicles," said Luca Biagini, chief operating officer for the Asia-Pacific region.

“For now, our team has developed a number of important technologies for new-energy vehicles and will keep focusing on reducing emission and improving the performance of products."

At Asia’s largest trade fair for automotive parts, accessories, equipment and services, Automechanika Shanghai, UFI Group showcased its professional filtration solutions designed and produced for the new-energy vehicle market. They provide advanced technology systems that can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions. 

The development of China’s new-energy vehicles is growing rapidly. China has issued a regulation requiring 10 percent of automakers’ sales to be electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles in 2019, rising to 12 percent in 2020.

In respond to the growing demand of green cars, auto parts suppliers are actively developing products for new-energy vehicles.

UFI Filters Group also presented its latest innovative air filter, MULTITUBE. The air filter can be fitted to traditional gasoline vehicle as well as new-energy vehicles.
