June will be a busy month for Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo International Exhibition Co Ltd, which is to host flagship fairs covering a record 400,000 square meters of space in Shanghai’s two major exhibition centers.

HNC 2019, Hi & Fi Asia-China, and ProPak & FoodPack China — fairs focusing on food, health and packaging — will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from June 19 to June 21.

They will overlap with the Lifestyle Show 2019, a development of the previous Shanghai International Boat Show, which is to be held at the center from June 20 to June 23.

It will be the first time the shows, all of them more than 20 years old, have been staged at Shanghai’s biggest exhibition center.

Meanwhile, CPhI & P-MEC China 2019, a medical care and health care fair, will be at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from June 18 to June 20.

“As industries increasingly integrate and even merge, we hope to host fairs of seemingly different categories together,” said Wang Mingliang, founder and board member of Shanghai UBM Sinoexpo.

“Shanghai, as a national center for exhibitions, makes it possible for us to host fairs of such large scale almost simultaneously,” Wang said.
