The 13th China (Henan) International Investment and Trade Fair will be held in the city of Zhengzhou starting from April 8, with the aim of boosting investment and trade in central China, organizers said during a media briefing in Shanghai on Wednesday.

The four-day event at the Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center will feature next-generation technologies like artificial intelligence and high-end services, and will see its space double from previous years to 54,000 square meters, said Sun Jinglin, vice director at the commerce commission of Henan Province.

Hungary has been invited to be the guest country for this year’s fair, while officials from more than 20 countries have confirmed their participation.

The annual event has facilitated 3,509 investment projects in the past year, covering industries like manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and finance.

The fair is co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the Henan government, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
