Pearl TV Tower to reopen under new public health measures

The Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower in the Pudong New Area will reopen on Thursday and visitor numbers will be kept under half of capacity, the site's operator announced on Wednesday.

Visitors are recommended to purchase tickets online or via ticketing machines. They must register their personal information for a reservation code and make purchase with real names. They are also required to present their health QR and reservation codes for entry.

Guests will need to have their temperatures checked and those with a temperature above 37.3 degrees Celsius will not be allowed into the tower.

All visitors must wear masks during tours.

Some parks in the city, such as Xujiahui Park in Xuhui District, Guangfulin countryside park and Songnan Mishidu countryside park in Songjiang District, and Langxia countryside park in Jinshan District have also reopened.
