The patient confirmed earlier as Shanghai's first imported coronavirus case was discharged from hospital on Wednesday, the Shanghai Health Commission said.
The patient, surnamed Tuo, 19, initially sought medical treatment for cough and was diagnosed with coronavirus on March 5.
Health authorities will conduct further visits and medical observation of Tuo, the commission said.
Authorities did not offer details about Tuo's recent travel history or where he might have been exposed to the virus.
So far, 326 coronavirus patients in Shanghai have been discharged from hospital, according to the commission.
