Far from downtown, the first Better Life Festival offers urban dwellers a new option for a night out.
The festival at the Maxus Music Valley in the Shanghai International Resort features outdoor barbecue, a night fair and live music by popular singers and bands such as Huang Ling, Yu Di and NZBZ.
The festival, which ends on Wednesday, is the first event of the newly established Shanghai International Resort Development Co Ltd, a strategic cooperation between Shanghai Shendi Group and Shanghai Media Group.
The company, unveiled on Monday night, focuses on improving the cultural brand of the Shanghai International Resort, including one-of-a-kind destination Shanghai Disneyland, by planning and holding a variety of activities with international style, local characteristics and Chinese elements.
