Metro commuters frightened out of train by mysterious running man

A large number of Metro commuters were frightened out of a train by a man who ran panicked through the car for no apparent reason in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province on August 13.

The train had just stopped at Shenzhen Science Museum Station on Metro Line 1.

As security video shows, a man suddenly ran out of the subway train and caused a panic in the crowd. Some commuters had no idea why he was panicked and so, fearing for their safety, followed him out of the train, causing a chain reaction.

According to Metro staff, nothing suspicious was found and passengers were persuaded to take the next train. They suggested passengers could report any abnormal conditions to the metro driver via audio speakers on the train.
