Man escapes death twice in 10 seconds

A video showing a man escaping death twice in ten seconds was spread online recently, with netizens amazed at the man's good luck.

The incident took place in Huludao, Liaoning Province on November 16 as a man stood on the footpath talking on his phone.

A car suddenly careens towards him, slamming into a lamp-post just in front of him, narrowly stopping the car from running him over. Just seconds later, the very lamp-post that saved the man's life comes crashing to the ground, missing him by inches.

The lucky man survived the incident without a scratch, although it's not known whether or not he bought a lottery ticket afterwards to celebrate.
