Driver wipes out 3 pedestrians on zebra crossing

A driver who was wiping her windshield while driving hit three pedestrians on a zebra crossing in Taizhou, Jiangsu Province last Friday night, Knews reported.

In the surveillance video, the car can be seen failing to stop in time at the zebra crossing, sending three pedestrians flying after running into them.

The driver, surnamed Cao, told police that the windshield of her car was fogged up at the time so she didn't notice the pedestrians.

Traffic police reminded all drivers to stop for pedestrians at zebra crossings, and to check the conditions of their cars carefully before driving on the roads.
