Bride causes partial ceiling collapse when throwing bouquet

Throwing the bride's bouquet is usually one of the more exciting parts of a wedding as unmarried women scramble to be the next to walk down the aisle.

But things got a little scary at a wedding in China recently when a bride threw her bouquet a little too vigorously, causing the ceiling to partially collapse on the wedding party, according to Knews.

In a footage circulated online, the ceiling of the wedding venue can be seen breaking apart when hit by the flying bouquet, sending wedding guests scrambling for their lives.

The video soon went viral online, with one netizen commenting, "The bride was clearly too excited!" Another joked, "Great! All the people hit by the ceiling will marry within the year!"

Some web users said the wedding venue operators were to blame, pointing out that a bouquet of flowers being thrown shouldn't be enough to cause a partial ceiling collapse, no matter how excited the thrower.

It is unknown if any of the wedding guests were injured in the incident.
